I did at some point go it ahead of the staining system but due to the fact I realized that ground would never be viewed plus the rails to hold the vary in place had been connected towards the concrete, I did not sand that area underneath it.I like to recommend applying the stain using a broom or wander-behind scrubber to promote greater penetration
